Choosing a fan is no easy task

Installing an air conditioner is a very difficult task, and here you cannot do without specialists, and even a child can put a fan on the floor or put it on a table. In addition, there are not so many really hot days in the year. And the fan on such days will be the perfect solution for a stuffy apartment. Besides, a good fan is several times cheaper than the cheapest air conditioner.

The fan does not essentially cool the air, but creates a pleasant flow of air that will help you endure the heat more comfortably. Household models are tabletop and floor-standing.

Desktops are usually less powerful and are designed to provide comfort in small local spaces. They should be on a child’s desk or on a window in a hot kitchen. The power of the floor models is enough for the whole room.

Fans can be equipped with power regulators, a remote control, an adjustable blowing angle, and sometimes a night light.

What to look for when buying

  1. reliability of the stand (mounts).
  2. noise level… If you are going to turn on the fan at night, then it is desirable that the noise level does not exceed 25-30 dB (indicated in the passport data).
  3. performance (measured in m3/ h and is indicated in the passport data).

To calculate the required fan performance for a particular room, multiply the volume of the room by two. Or choose at the rate of 30-80 m3/ hour per person.
