Chocolate allergy: the nightmare of sweet mouths …
The chocolate allergies are possible even if they are rares. The allergic phenomenon in this case comes from the proteins of the cocoa. The allergic person who consumes it then experiences difficulty in breathing, has headaches, rashes, tachychardia, itching and a burning sensation in the stomach.
These symptoms can also be observed in people who are allergic to the elements that make up chocolate (nuts, milk proteins, etc..), even though they are therefore not really allergic to cocoa per se.
