Chinese cabbage salad. Video recipe

Chinese or, as it is also called, Peking cabbage is an incredibly delicate and dietary product that is often used to create light salads. It is low in calories, which makes it very popular among people on a variety of diets. And also Chinese cabbage is a storehouse of vitamins and nutrients.

Chinese cabbage and corn salad

• Chinese cabbage – 1 head of cabbage; • Canned corn – 150 g; • Croutons – 200 g; • Lemon juice – 1 tbsp. spoon; • olive oil – 1,5 tbsp. spoons • salt to taste.

Divide the head of Chinese cabbage into leaves, wash them thoroughly under running water. Place the leaves on a napkin or towel and wait for them to dry slightly.

In the meantime, cook the croutons. To create this salad, you can use purchased crackers, but it is better to cook them yourself. To do this, cut white bread into small cubes and fry them in olive oil until golden brown.

Chop the Chinese cabbage leaves coarsely and place them in a large salad bowl. Add cooked croutons and canned corn to these. Season with salt to taste. Drizzle with lemon juice and season with olive oil. Mix everything thoroughly and serve. The salad according to this recipe goes best with fish dishes, for example, fried salmon.

Salad with Chinese cabbage, radish and sour cream

• Chinese cabbage – ½ head of cabbage; • eggs – 3 pcs.; • radish – 5 pcs.; • sour cream – 4 tbsp. spoons; • dill – 1 tbsp. spoon • salt to taste.

Boil eggs hard-boiled, cool and cut into large cubes. Wash the leaves of Chinese cabbage, dry and chop coarsely. Wash the radishes and cut them into thin slices.

Mix all the ingredients in a salad bowl, salt. Add dill and sour cream. Stir gently again and serve.

Chinese cabbage contains a large amount of B vitamins, vitamins A, C, E, K, PP, as well as amino acids and minerals

It takes about 15 minutes to prepare such a salad. It can be served as an independent dish even for the most demanding gourmets.

Ingredients: • chicken fillet – 200 g; • flour – 2 tbsp. spoons; • soy sauce – 40 ml; • red and green bell peppers – 1/2 pcs.; • Chinese cabbage – ½ head of cabbage; • olive oil – 20 ml; • sesame oil – 2 tsp; • purple onion – 15 g; • carrots – ½ pcs; • cilantro – 3 stalks; • ginger – 5 g; • garlic – ½ clove; • walnuts – 10 g; • maple syrup – 1 tsp; • salt – to taste.

Wash the chicken fillet, dry and cut into thin strips. Dip in flour, drizzle with half of the soy sauce and sesame oil available. Mix everything. Fry the pieces of meat in olive oil until golden brown. Place on a paper napkin-lined plate to loosen excess fat.

Chop Chinese cabbage leaves and transfer to a deep bowl. Add the bell peppers, purple onions and carrots, cut into strips. Put finely chopped cilantro, chopped garlic, walnuts and ginger there.

In a separate cup, combine the remaining soy sauce, sesame oil, maple syrup, and 1 teaspoon of olive oil. Pour the resulting dressing over the salad and stir it with your hands. Season with salt to taste. Place the chicken on plates and cover with the salad. Serve to the table.
