This weekend begins in the Madrid town of Chinchón the 4th Route of the Tapa.
The event has brought together 14 establishments that will offer their customers a tapa and a bottle of Beer for € 2,5 during the weekends of July 11 to 13 and from July 18 to 20 of the same month.
False winks, double beds, a drink of both or cool potatoes, are some of the Tapas that can be tasted in the participating places, where classicism in the preparation of the recipe and the avant-garde have made an appearance in this contest, so that the most exquisite and the most traditional palates alike enjoy the snacks presented to the Event.

Local products as protagonists
It is worth highlighting the local approach to the products used to make the tapas where the allegory of the region delicacies are very present.
Garlic and Anise have always been characteristic of the place, and apart from its tourist attraction for its gastronomy, these have been offered to the visitor for decades.
Proof of this is the sophisticated culinary creation of the La Villa bar in the “anise nest and garlic”, cover shown in the photo on the left.
Local garlic with excellent flavor and aroma, handcrafted by the “ajeras” on some cushions at ground level, are traditional prints that we can experience these days tasting them from its main square to the last corner of its streets.
Chinchón anise is another of the traditional products of the place and since the seventeenth century it was produced in these parts, from the variety of plant of anís matalahúva.
The “Chinchón Dry Anise”Has traveled and traveled many kilometers in the suitcases of tourists who came to this town in search of leisure, gastronomy, culture and history, and returned home with the so“ emblematic ”souvenir bottle.
To continue traveling kilometers like anise, the leisure initiative is completed with a 3,5 km Popular Night Race through the town’s urban center. This will be at nine o’clock on Saturday night, June 12.
