On the one hand, the initiative seems to be understandable. Girls, in their quest to resemble the inhuman proportions of Barbies, fall into anorexia. Or they start to have an unhealthy interest in shopping, cosmetics and – oh my god! – to sex. Boys broadcast unbearable cruelty into space, killing monsters. Well, some parents, to be honest, do not like dolls from the “Monster High” series.
This “dislikes” is the other side of the coin. After all, all children are different. How to understand who the monster doll will dream of in nightmares, and who will entertain? Where is that criterion? After all, here, you see, it is more a matter of a child, and not of a doll. What if an expert psychologist just doesn’t like it when boys play toy soldiers? Experts do not even exclude that many dolls and constructors will be inaccessible to children from poor families.
And further. Remember what toys we ourselves had. Some are very similar to humans, only without genitals. And some are downright creepy if you look at them from today’s toy stores.
