To do this, you need to constantly monitor what your baby eats. The child’s menu should still be separate, healthy and complete, make sure that the size of the pieces is no larger than the beans. At this age, for the child, as before, the diet is important, so you cannot teach the baby to have snacks.
A huge role in a child’s diet is assigned to milk, as well as dairy products, because they are rich in calcium, which is so necessary for the growth and development of the skeleton. The daily norm of milk for a one-year-old baby is 500 ml / day, cottage cheese – 50 g / day, sour cream – 5 g / day. Doctors recommend giving sour cream and cottage cheese every other day.
As for meat products, children can be given beef, chicken, rabbit and lean meat – pork and lamb (daily allowance 85 g / day). The daily intake of fish also increases (25 g / day). For a week, no more than five days, the child needs to be fed with meat products, and fish days should be arranged for 3 days.
A baby who is over a year old can enter a boiled chicken egg into the diet, at least every other day. Be careful, there are times when the protein causes a variety of allergic reactions in children. In such cases, only the yolk is given to the child.
Do not forget to feed your child with butter (12 g / day) or vegetable (up to 10 g / day) butter. Butter can be spread on a sandwich, and salads can be seasoned with vegetable oil. You can’t give your child margarine.
A variety of cereals will be very useful and useful in the baby’s diet: oatmeal, buckwheat and wheat. They contain many micro and macronutrients necessary for a young growing body.
It is not recommended to get carried away with pasta, because they are oversaturated with carbohydrates and do not contain many useful substances.
As for legumes, the child needs to eat them in very small quantities, mainly in soups. The daily norm of the above products is as follows: porridge – 15 g, pasta – 5 g, bread – no more than 100 g.
Parents need to know that sugar is the main source of carbohydrates besides pasta. A large intake of sweets can have a bad effect on the health of the child: metabolic disorders occur, which can lead to overweight. Remember that the daily sugar requirement does not exceed 15 g / day.
You need to know that vegetables and fruits are an important source of nutrients and vitamins. It is allowed to enter into the diet such vegetables as radishes, onions and garlic, potatoes, as well as herbs. Experts recommend giving children also natural juices (no more than 150 ml / day).
As for the diet, for children over a year old, it is four times a day. In between, it is forbidden to give sweets or purchased juices (you can replace them with compotes, fruit drinks or unsweetened teas), this can disrupt metabolism and reduce appetite.
Make sure your baby is full. For a child over 1 year old, the daily food intake is 1200 ml, after 1,5 years, up to 3 years – 1500 ml.
If before 1 year old the baby is given grated food, after a year – cut into small pieces. Children who have reached 2 years of age are allowed to give fried cutlets and fish, which must be freed from bones. It is recommended to feed the children with a variety of vegetable cuts and salads.

The milk can be heated for no more than 3 minutes. As for vegetables, as a rule, their peel contains a maximum of vitamins and nutrients.
