Recipe for wings in honey sauce with mustard

Wings with honey-based sauce will not be time-consuming, so this recipe is perfect for a busy housewife who can do a lot of things while the meat is marinated.

For such a dish, you will need the following ingredients:

  • 1 kg of chicken wings
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp mustard bean
  • 1 lemon circle
  • 5 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • pepper and salt to taste

Wash the wings and lay them on a towel, leaving to dry. Then pour the soy sauce and oil into a deep bowl, add chopped garlic, honey and ketchup, squeeze juice from a mug of lemon, add mustard, and then add pepper and salt.

Salt the marinade very carefully. Remember that soy sauce is often very salty, so it’s important not to overdo it.

Stir the marinade, then put the wings in it and leave in the refrigerator for 4-5 hours, and if possible, overnight. When the meat is marinated, place the wings on a baking sheet or wire shelf and cook in the oven at 40 ° C for 180 minutes. Don’t forget to pour the sauce over the wings. When they’re done, remove them from the oven, place them on a flat plate and serve hot.

Chicken wings with lemon and honey

If you don’t want to spend a lot of food on cooking, prepare delicious wings in lemon-honey sauce.

The list of ingredients you will need is small:

  • 1 kg of chicken wings
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 lemon
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • salt to taste

Rinse the wings, salt, and then put them in a special baking dish and put in an oven preheated to 20 ° C for 200 minutes. While they are cooking, make the sauce: Combine the freshly squeezed juice of one lemon with honey and chopped garlic and toss.

It is advisable to take fresh, liquid honey, however, if necessary, you can melt the already thickened product in a water bath

Remove the wings from the oven, cool slightly, then transfer to the sauce. Spread each wing on all sides, then place it back on a baking dish, top with lemon-honey sauce and bake in the oven for another 20-25 minutes. When the wings are ready, place them on a platter, garnish with herbs and serve. This appetizer can be eaten not only hot, but also cold. The second option will be especially attractive if you serve the wings with a vegetable salad.
