Sweet and sour chicken with pineapple pieces

Chicken in sweet and sour sauce with honey

– 500-700 g of chicken fillet; – 1 head of onion; – 3 pcs. carrots; – garlic to taste; – 50 ml of soy sauce; – 2 tbsp. honey; – 10 g starch; – 7 ml of vinegar.

Cut the fillet into strips, put in a bowl and cover with soy sauce (3-4 tablespoons). Leave to marinate for 10 minutes.

Cut the carrots into strips or grate them for Chinese salads, chop the onion in half rings, the pepper into small cubes, and finely chop the garlic.

Preheat a deep frying pan, add sunflower oil and fry the marinated meat (keep the heat on). Stir the chicken constantly so that it does not burn.

Add carrots to the meat and fry again.

Dilute the starch in a mug of cold water, pour half into the chicken. Mix everything well, add honey, garlic, vinegar. Last but not least, onions.

Let it sit for 2-3 minutes, then add the pepper and add the rest of the starch. Stir the dish all the time.

After 3 minutes, reduce heat and let the dish simmer. The entire cooking process should not take more than 30 minutes.
