Chicken hearts: how to fry? Video
Chicken hearts are a delicious and nutritious offal that can be used to prepare a wide variety of dishes. Fried hearts are especially popular. They can be served with a spicy or creamy sauce, cooked with walnuts or onions, each time coming up with a new treat.
Chicken hearts in sour cream
Ingredients: – 500 g of chicken hearts; – 1 tbsp. a spoonful of flour; – 3 tbsp. tablespoons of sour cream; – 0,5 cups of water; – the head of onions; – salt and black pepper to taste.
Prepare chicken hearts correctly for a delicious meal. If frozen, thaw them at room temperature or in cold water. Then remove the film from the hearts and wash them under running water. After that, put in a frying pan with hot vegetable oil and fry for 10 minutes over medium heat.
Add onions cut into half rings to the hearts, salt and pepper to taste. Cook for 2 minutes. Add flour and fry for a minute, stirring constantly. Pour in water, add sour cream, mix everything and cook for another 15 minutes.
Chicken hearts contain many useful trace elements: manganese, iron, zinc, potassium, sodium, calcium. And also vitamins B1, B2, B6, A and PP. It is especially useful to eat them in case of disorders of the cardiovascular system.
Chicken hearts in a spicy sauce
Ingredients: – 300-400 g of chicken hearts;
– 3 tbsp. spoons of vermouth; – 1 teaspoon of paprika; – 2 tbsp. tablespoons of soy sauce; – 1 teaspoon of ground ginger; – 1/3 teaspoon of hot pepper; – 1 tbsp. a spoonful of soybean oil; – 2 tbsp. tablespoons of olive oil; – salt to taste.
Combine vermouth, soy sauce, soybean oil, paprika, hot pepper, and ground ginger in a cup. Place the washed and defatted Chicken Hearts in the prepared marinade and incubate for 2 hours at room temperature. After the allotted time, remove them from the marinade and fry in olive oil until cooked through. To prevent them from burning, you can pour a little marinade into the pan. Season with salt to taste. Serve the prepared hearts with glass noodles.
Fried chicken hearts with walnuts and grants
Ingredients: – 500 g of chicken hearts; – large head of onions; – ½ cup peeled walnuts; – 3 tbsp. tablespoons of vegetable oil; – 1 tbsp. a spoonful of butter; – 1 tbsp. a spoonful of lemon juice; – 1 clove of garlic; – 1 tbsp. a spoonful of pomegranate seeds; – salt and black pepper to taste.
Prepare chicken hearts as described above. Fry in vegetable oil for 15 minutes, not forgetting to add salt. In another pan, melt the butter and fry the onion, chopped into thin half rings, chopped walnuts and garlic in it. Transfer the onion and nuts to the hearts, pepper, sprinkle with lemon juice and simmer under a closed lid for 5 minutes. Then turn off the heat. Serve, garnish with chopped parsley and pomegranate seeds.
