You can infuse cherry plum on almost any alcohol base (vodka, food alcohol, moonshine without foreign smell or cognac).
To prepare the tincture, you can use fresh or frozen cherry plum berries.
The strength of the finished drink can range from 30 to 36 degrees.

Classic cherry plum tincture
Ingredients
Cherry plum – 500 g
Vodka – 500 ml
Granulated sugar – 150 g
Water – 200 ml
Method of preparation
Cherry plum must be washed, the stalks and spoiled berries removed.
We transfer the prepared berries to a glass container and completely fill it with an alcohol base. We insist in a dark place at room temperature for 1 month.
After the specified time, we filter the tincture through a sieve.
Cook simple sugar syrup.
After cooling the syrup to room temperature, mix it with the tincture and mix thoroughly.
To get rid of turbidity and possible sediment, we filter the finished liquor through a home-made or purchased filter. Pour into glass bottles.
Before tasting, we let the taste stabilize for 3-4 days in a dark, cool place.

Ingredients
Cherry plum – 500 g
Cognac – 500 ml
Honey – 250 g
Method of preparation

We transfer the prepared berries to a glass container and completely fill it with an alcohol base. We insist in a dark place at room temperature for 1 month.
After the specified time, we filter the tincture through a sieve and mix it with honey. Mix thoroughly until the honey is completely dissolved.
We filter the finished liquor through a home-made or purchased filter and let it brew for 2-3 weeks in a dark, cool place.
After the taste stabilizes after the infusion and a precipitate forms, filter the liquor again. Pour into glass bottles.

Cherry plum tincture with lemon balm
Ingredients
Cherry plum – 2 kg
Granulated sugar – 450 g
Food alcohol – 200 ml
Melissa – 6 small branches
Water – 500 ml
Method of preparation
Cherry plum must be thoroughly washed and spoiled berries removed.
We shift the prepared berries into a saucepan, fill with water and boil after boiling for 10-15 minutes.
As soon as the cherry plum has cooled, we separate it from the seeds and puree it with a blender.
We shift the prepared puree into a glass container, add sugar, alcohol base and lemon balm. Mix thoroughly and infuse for 2 months in a dark, cool place.
After the specified time, we filter the tincture through a fine strainer and then filter through a purchased or home-made filter. Pour into glass bottles.
Before proceeding with the tasting, we keep the tincture for 2 weeks in a dark, cool place.
Cherry plum express liqueur with citrus aroma
For this recipe, you can use the zest of any fruit (lemon, orange, grapefruit or tangerine).

Cherry plum – 1 kg
Sugar – 2 cups
Vodka – 2 l
Orange zest – 2 tsp
Tangerine peel – 1 tsp.
Water – 250 ml

As soon as the cherry plum has cooled, it is necessary to separate it from the bones.

Ingredients
Cherry plum – 500 g
Sugars – 250 g
Water – 250 g
Food alcohol – 500 ml
Cinnamon stick – 0,5 cm
Cloves – 3 buds
Method of preparation
Cherry plum must be thoroughly washed, spoiled berries removed and pierced with a toothpick in several places.
We transfer the prepared berry to a glass container, add cloves, cinnamon and fill it with food alcohol. We insist for 10 days in a dark place.
After the specified time, dissolve the sugar in warm water and pour it into the tincture. We continue to insist another 30 days.
A month later, we filter the tincture through a purchased or home-made filter. Pour into glass bottles.
We store the finished tincture of cherry plum in a dark, cool place.
