Cherry liqueur: 4 recipes at home

Cherry liqueur at home turns out to be very fragrant and of medium strength.

Cherry drink can be prepared using an alcohol base or using natural fermentation.

Classic cherry liqueur

Ingredients

  1. Cherries – 2 kg

  2. Granulated sugar – 800 g

  3. Water – 250 ml

Method of preparation

  1. Wash the cherries, remove the stalks and seeds.

  2. In a glass container, lay out the prepared berry with granulated sugar in layers and at the very end fill everything with water.

  3. We put a water seal or a clean glove with a small hole on the finger on the container and transfer it to a sunny place for natural fermentation for 3 weeks.

  4. As soon as the fermentation process is over, we filter the liquor through a purchased or home-made filter and repeat this procedure again after 3 days.

  5. Pour the finished cherry liqueur into glass bottles and store in a dark, cool place.

Pouring cherry with vodka

Ingredients

  1. Sweet cherries – 1 kg

  2. Vodka – 2 l

  3. Water – 400 ml

  4. Granulated sugar – 500 g

Method of preparation

  1. Wash the cherries, remove the stalks and seeds.

  2. We transfer the prepared berry to a glass container, fill it with an alcohol base and water. Let it brew for 10 days in a dark place at room temperature.

  3. After the specified time, we filter the cherry tincture and leave it for a while in the kitchen cabinet.

  4. The alcoholized berries are again transferred to a glass container, covered with sugar, mixed and covered with gauze. Let it brew for a week in a warm dark place.

  5. After 7 days, filter the juice and squeeze the berries well.

  6. Mix cherry tincture with juice and let stand for another 1 day. Then we filter the finished liquor through a purchased or home-made filter and pour it into glass bottles.

  7. Before tasting, the liquor must be infused for 120 days in a dark place.

Cherry honey liqueur

Ingredients

  1. Sweet cherries – 1 kg

  2. Alcohol – 1 l

  3. Vodka – 750 ml

  4. Honey – 1 l

  5. Cloves, cinnamon, vanillin – 1 g each

Method of preparation

  1. Wash the cherries, remove the stalks and seeds.

  2. We transfer the prepared berry to a glass container, add spices and fill it with an alcohol base. Let it brew for 1 month in a sunny place.

  3. After 4 weeks, strain the tincture into another container and leave for a while.

  4. Pour honey over the cherries, close the glass container with gauze and leave for another month in a sunny place.

  5. After the specified time, carefully filter the honey syrup and mix it with cherry tincture. We insist 1 day in a dark place.

  6. A day later, we filter the finished cherry liqueur through a purchased or home-made filter and pour it into glass bottles.

  7. Before tasting, insist 3-4 months and store in a dark, cool place.

Pour cherry with nutmeg

Ingredients

  1. Sweet cherries – 1 kg

  2. Vodka – 400 ml

  3. Granulated sugar – 250 g

  4. Nutmeg – 1 g

  5. Cover – 1 g

  6. Chilled sugar syrup – 150 g

Method of preparation

  1. Wash the cherries, remove the stalks and mash a little without removing the pits.

  2. We shift the prepared berries into a glass container and leave for 3 days in a dark place at room temperature.

  3. After 3 days, we add spicy spices, granulated sugar to the cherry and fill it with an alcohol base. Shake thoroughly and let it brew for 7 days in a warm, dark place.

  4. After the specified time, we filter the liqueur, add sugar syrup and filter the cherry drink through a purchased or home-made filter.

  5. The finished product is poured into glass bottles and stored in a dark, cool place.
