Chef Signature Beers

The AMSTEL Beer Brand has presented a special edition of its fermented products with the signature of the chef Pepe Rodriguez.

On June 23, an interesting collaboration was presented in Madrid, that of the new range of fermented products from the Heineken group, with that of the television chef, Pepe Rodriguez.

The place chosen for the presentation of the fermented products and the pairings that were made for the occasion, were the Luchana Theater in Madrid and it was possible to see the preparation of the snacks that accompany the new Amstel Chef Special Edition.

The set of products are 3 new labels signed by Pepe Rodríguez and inspired by the ingredients and the way of elaboration of the traditional Amstel, turned into the “Amstel Chef Special Edition” , a very careful edition designed especially for the channel of Hostelry, and are called:

  • Body and flavor 100% malt.
  • Pure mortar.
  • Fire punch.

The use of only quality ingredients and care in the preparation are the common factors that have led Amstel to count on the popular chef from Toledo, recognized for his respect for traditional cuisine.

Amstel Special Chef Edition Recipes

Each of the recipes is an authentic tribute to the quality in the elaboration of the brewery products, and for the occasion, the chef has made 3 culinary elaborations, which represent in the essence and the flavor the perfect pairing for each one of they.

  1. For the Beer with body and flavor 100% malt, a Cooked Donut, a sphere with 100% cooked meat from traditional pringá, the result of the previous cooking of bacon, blood sausage, black sausage and bacon.
  2. For Pure Malt Beer, a Piquillo peppers steeped in pure malt, with mango and anchovy. The product is macerated in the Amstel beer itself, thus transferring all the aroma of the fermentation to the food.
  3. For Golpe de Fuego Beer, a Crispy Iberian prey, sautéed and flambé, along with chives, tomatoes and soybeans. All seasoned and seasoned with smoked oil mayonnaise, coriander, Kimchi sauce and decorated with sprouts.

A true luxury, the tapas and the drink, especially tasted in the same harmony, this being the objective of the Amstel brand in terms of product innovation and support for the hospitality activity with differentiating products or by sponsoring events where culinary preparation is the protagonist as we highlighted in the last edition of the championship Basque Country Pintxo Championship, also known as Amstel Gold Pintxos Championship.
