Check your washing machine carefully before washing

What just does not get into the washing machine along with dirty things! But what Illinois resident Sanela Kamencic found in her laundry machine scared her half to death. Having opened the hatch door to unload the laundry after washing, the American was horrified: among the wet things, a snake, though small, but angry after the water-soap procedures, was crawling.

The police who arrived at the call hurried to take the reptile to the veterinary clinic for exotic animals in the city of Chicago. After examining the snake, the veterinarian assured that, despite the aggressive behavior, washing in the washing machine did not harm her health. The only thing is that she smelled like fabric softener.

As it turned out later, the snake’s name is Penelope and she lives next door to Kamenchich. Penelope’s owner, a 12-year-old boy, has been keeping a corn snake as a pet for a long time, but this is the first time she has gone missing.

The corn or grain snake is a non-venomous reptile with an interesting coloration and, most importantly, an accommodating disposition. Therefore, it is not surprising that many Americans keep this animal at home.
