As part of the National Hearing Test, a special auditory bus will arrive in 30 cities in Poland, where you can test your hearing free of charge. The first mobile offices started work on July 3, but the entire acacia will take three months.

The first stage of testing in a mobile laboratory is the ecola test lasting 30 seconds. The patient puts on headphones and indicates when he hears sound of increasingly higher frequencies in one ear or the other. Then he presses a button.

Everyone who comes to the test will receive specific, personalized information about the condition of their hearing and advice on how to care for it. The research is free and will take less than 15 minutes.

During the previous six actions, approx. 60 thousand people were tested. people. In the seventh, the organizers want to warn against “the seven deadly sins of hearing”, that is:

  1. ignoring the first symptoms of hearing loss,
  1. avoiding silence – living in constant noise,
  1. avoiding hearing tests,
  1. ignoring hearing loss in loved ones,
  1. deliberately “bombarding” the ears with decibels from in-ear headphones,
  1. avoiding hearing protectors and not using them at work,
  1. avoiding hearing aids.

The National Hearing Test, sponsored by one of the hearing aid manufacturers, will last three months. There will be conducted, among others in:

Kołobrzeg,

Częstochowa,

Skierniewice,

Żywiec,

Nowy Sącz,

The data collected by the organizer of the campaign shows that almost 40 percent. Poles have hearing problems. The worst results were recorded in Wielkopolska, where the hearing impairment was found in 54 percent. subjects. According to experts, since the first campaign in 2011, the percentage of people with hearing loss in the country has increased by almost 10%.
