Champagne “Chateau Tamagne” is the result of cooperation between French and Russian winemakers. The trademark is produced by Kuban-Vino, one of the largest Russian producers. The company owns three factories, the total production of which is 60 million bottles per year. Sparkling wines of the brand have been repeatedly awarded the gold mark “One Hundred Best Goods of Russia”.
Historical information
A small enterprise for the primary processing of grapes was built in the village of Starotitarovskaya in 1956. In the first years of its existence, the plant was called a wine center, and raw materials came from nearby vineyards. Six years later, it was decided to create a full-fledged production, so the buildings were rebuilt and equipped with underground reinforced concrete tanks for storing wine. In 1964, the plant began its work, and already in the 70s, the annual volume of processing of raw materials amounted to 23,5 thousand tons.
In the 90s, the winery was transformed into an agricultural company, and the vineyards became a platform for experiments on the selection of the country’s leading research institutes. The end of the 90s was marked by cooperation with a Moldovan wine company. A new stage in the development of Kuban-Vino LLC began in 2003, when the plant became part of the large production and trade holding Ariant. New bottling lines were installed in the shops, and the production of wine in Tetra Pak packages was launched.
The line of Chateau Tamagne wines is the result of cooperation between the company and specialists from the Institute of Oenology of France, headed by Jérôme Baret. The first collection was released in 2005 and immediately won five gold awards at Russian and international competitions. The trademark has repeatedly found itself in the top lines of the Roskachestvo rating due to excellent organoleptic indicators. In 2018, the brand received a special certificate confirming that the grapes are grown within the same geographical area – the Taman Peninsula.
Manufacture
The line of sparkling wines was launched in 2006. The production uses a reservoir method, which allows you to get a quality product at an affordable price. Recipes were created taking into account the experience of French winemakers.
In 2008, a new series of young sparkling wines “Chateau Tamagne” appeared, made according to the original technology patented by the Eurasian Patent Office. The method of primary fermentation of the must is used, which allows you to save all the richness of the taste of freshly harvested grapes.
