Charlotte in the microwave: cooking secrets. Video
Charlotte is the simplest, but at the same time very tasty version of fruit pie. It is usually cooked in the oven. But you can also bake charlotte in the microwave – the recipe for the dish will remain unchanged, adjustments will have to be made only in the cooking process.
For a light apple pie, choose fruits with a sweet and sour taste to make the charlotte more expressive. Decorate the finished cake with whipped cream or vanilla cream.
You will need: – 3 large apples; – 1 glass of flour; – 1 cup of sugar; – 4 eggs; – 1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar or a pinch of vanillin; – 1 tablespoon of ready-made candied fruits; – oil for lubricating the mold.
Mix eggs with sugar and vanilla sugar or vanilla, beat everything until smooth and add sifted flour in portions. Peel and seed apples, cut into small cubes. Pour the fruit into the dough, add the candied fruit and stir again.
To make the charlotte more fluffy, you can add baking powder to the dough by mixing it with flour
Grease a baking dish and pour the dough into it. Place the dish in the microwave. Cook on maximum power for 12 minutes. By activating the microwave plus grill function, the baking time is reduced to 7 minutes. After baking, let the charlotte stand in the oven for a few more minutes. Check the readiness of the dish with a wooden stick or toothpick. If it remains dry after sticking it into the dough, the cake is ready. Remove from the mold, cool and serve with tea.
Charlotte with bananas and walnuts
Try making charlotte with bananas – it turns out to be sweet and very tender. The astringent taste of nuts will make the cake more savory and interesting.
You will need: – 4 large ripe bananas; – 0,5 cups of shelled walnuts; – 2 eggs; – 150 g butter; – 2 tablespoons of milk; – 200 g of icing sugar; – 1 teaspoon baking powder; – salt.
Melt the butter and mix with the powdered sugar. Whisk eggs into the mixture, add warmed milk, baking powder, flour and a little salt. Mix everything thoroughly, it is convenient to use a mixer for this.
Coarsely chop the walnuts, peel and cut the bananas into small pieces. Place fruits and nuts in a bowl of dough and stir. Grease a microwave oven dish and pour the dough into it.
Walnuts can be replaced with almond petals or hazelnuts
Place the dish in the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes at maximum power. After the end of the baking cycle, do not remove the charlotte from the microwave for another 5 minutes. Chill the charlotte, sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve. Melted vanilla ice cream can be served as a sauce; it is poured over each portion before serving.
