Changing one’s own behavior is the psychological impact of a person on himself, leading to a change in his behavior.
What can be done about behavior?
- remove (unlearn, get rid of),
- add (learn, become),
- change (change one to another).
Types of change in one’s own behavior
If a person was able to change his behavior here and now, but this applies only to a specific situation, this is a situational change in his own behavior. If a person has changed his behavior in general, fundamentally, this change is for a long time and concerns a large number of significant situations, it is said about self-control of behavior.
Reasons and conditions for change
When there is a Problem (with a negative worldview) or when there is an Opportunity (with a positive one).
Positive self-motivation, Negative self-motivation and Situation building. (Change Situation, Developing Situation)
With fears — the willingness to leave the comfort zone.
Motivation is reactive (in connection with what happened, in connection with guilt, opportunities or mistakes) and proactive (in connection with plans for the future).
Behavioral reactions are something that is attributed, on the one hand, to behavior, but on the other hand, for which a person’s responsibility is reduced or reduced: “I didn’t start calling names, he started it first!”
Possibility is what is possible (permitted) according to physical laws, at least theoretically. The area of our capabilities is very wide (walking on hands, standing on your head, flying into space, etc.)
Ability is that possibility that we believe in as real.
Channels of Influence: Reason or Feeling?
Through the Feeling — a sense of guilt, experience, remorse, redemption. Or inspiration, interest, faith in yourself.
Through Mind — I thought — I did. More: comprehended, evaluated, rethought and drew conclusions, set a task, corrected behavior, evaluated the results, set the following tasks.
