Champignon mushrooms: how to fry deliciously? Video

Delicious and delicate champignons will become an excellent and absolutely safe alternative to forest mushrooms, replenishing the household diet with the necessary amino acids and proteins. Among the variety of dishes made from champignons, fried mushrooms are especially popular, which are very easy to make.

How to prepare mushrooms for frying

Before cooking mushrooms, they must be rinsed and chopped. This should be done immediately before cooking, since with prolonged contact with water, the mushrooms darken and acquire a not very attractive appearance. It is preferable to use mushrooms of the same size for frying, so they will fry faster. To make the ready-made fried champignons look beautiful, it is advisable not to separate the legs from the cap when cutting. The slicing looks neat in the form of not too thick straws, shaped like a champignon.

Some housewives prefer not only to wash the mushrooms, but also to remove the film from their cap, as they do with forest mushrooms, believing that when prepared in this way, the mushrooms turn out to be more tender. But this is already a matter of taste

How to fry mushrooms

This will require: – the mushrooms themselves in the desired amount; – vegetable oil for frying; – salt, black and white pepper.

The vegetable oil needs to be heated in a frying pan and put the mushroom pieces on it in one layer. If you lay out the sliced mushrooms in a dense layer, then they are more likely to be stewed than fried. Sprinkle the mushrooms on top with salt and pepper, preferably white, as it gives the mushrooms a more original taste. As soon as a crust forms on one side of the mushrooms, and this will happen literally in a minute or two, it is necessary to turn them over. It turns out that mushrooms are fried almost in deep fat, acquiring a golden and crispy crust.

How much to fry champignons and how to diversify the recipe

The duration of cooking mushrooms fully depends on their quantity, as well as on whether they are fried neat or together with other vegetables. Being laid out in one layer, mushrooms are cooked literally at the same time, in a couple of minutes. If you fry mushrooms with other vegetables, you should add additional cooking time. So, when frying champignons with onions and carrots, you should first fry the latter, since it takes more time to cook them, and only after the carrots and onions acquire a golden color, add the mushrooms. This is the easiest way to prepare mushrooms, which allows you to give them a slightly different taste. In this form, they will be a great addition to any side dish. You can also change the classic mushroom flavor by squeezing a clove of garlic into a skillet and stirring it with the mushrooms after a crust has formed during frying, a few minutes before turning off the heat.
