Robots, innovative technologies, a technopark, and all this in Stavropol. Sounds like science fiction? But no. In April in Moscow, in the SKOLKOVO innovation complex, the Stavropol Leader Center received the status of a Resource Engineering Center in the field of Educational Robotics.
Starting in September 2016, a federal experimental platform will be deployed in Stavropol on the basis of the Leader Center to develop a unified methodology for teaching students the basics of robotics in cooperation with a resident of the SKOLKOVO innovation complex – laboratory of intelligent technologies LINTECH.
The purpose of the Resource Engineering Center is to develop robotics, project activities, identify and support talented children and youth in the field of high technologies.
To achieve the set goal at the Center “Leader” the Children’s Technopark will be created with a new generation of robotic constructors “SCART”, developed in SKOLKOVO… In September, about 170 students of the 3rd, 7th and 8th grades of Stavropol schools will become the first students of the Technopark!
Center additional education “Leader” invites children from 2 to 17 years old to study for the summer and the 2016-2017 academic year.
