Dosage of the preparation

Ceel is in the form of film-coated tablets for oral use. Do not exceed the recommended dose of the drug as it may endanger your life or health.

  1. Adults and children over 12 years of age. Orally. 1-2 tabl./d.

Ceel and contraindications

The contraindications to taking Ceel are:

  1. allergy to any component of the preparation,
  2. vitamin deficiency K,
  3. intestinal malabsorption.

Ceel – warnings

  1. Use Ceel with caution in the case of nephrolithiasis, gout, cystinuria, thalassemia, sideroblastic anemia, haemochromatosis, lack of blood glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase.
  2. During long-term use of the preparation and anticoagulants, it is recommended to monitor the prothrombin time.
  3. Ask your doctor for advice before taking Ceel while pregnant or breastfeeding. The drug should only be used when, in the doctor’s opinion, the benefit for the mother outweighs the potential risk for the child.

Ceel and other substances

  1. Vitamin E (tocopherol) may increase the effect of anticoagulants and weaken the effect of iron preparations (especially in children with iron deficiency anemia).
  2. Cholestyramine and colestipol may reduce the effectiveness of the preparation.

Ceel – side effects

When taking too high doses of Ceel, the following may appear:

  1. tiredness,
  2. weakness,
  3. headaches,
  4. nausea,
  5. diarrhea,
  6. flatulence
  7. rash.
