Cebionmulti for vitamin deficiencies. How to use?

Cebionmulti is a preparation used in the states of vitamin deficiency and to prevent deficiencies (long-term infectious diseases with increased temperature, period of rapid growth, intense physical effort, elimination diet).

SUBSTANCE 1 ml contains: 5000 IU of vitamin A (retinol palmitate), 1000 IU of cholecalciferol, 0,8 mg of riboflavin, 0,002 g of thiamine, 0,03 g of nicotinamide, 0,01 g of dexpanthenol, 0,004 g of pyridoxine, 0,1 g of ascorbic acid, 0,004 g of tocopherol

Cebionmulti is a combined preparation containing vitamins.

Cebionmulti – indications and dosage

Cebionmulti is a drug recommended for vitamin deficiency and prevention of deficiencies:

  1. in long-term infectious diseases with increased temperature,
  2. in the period of rapid growth,
  3. during intense physical exertion,
  4. during an elimination diet.

Drug dosage

Cebionmulti comes in the form of a dot to be taken by mouth. The preparation should be given on a spoon to milk, to tea or ground food.

  1. Babies 3-5 drops / d,
  2. Children 2-6. 6-7 drops / d,
  3. Children 7-14. year – 8-9 drops / day

Cebionmulti and contraindications

Contraindications to the use of Cebionmulti are:

  1. hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation,
  2. hypercalcemia.

Cebionmulti – warnings

  1. In patients with kidney stones (also with a history of) or sarcoidosis, Cebionmulti should only be used when the doctor considers that the potential benefits outweigh the risks.
  2. In pregnant women, the preparation can only be used to replace the deficiency when, in the opinion of the doctor, the benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus. Do not use additional preparations containing vitamin A on your own during pregnancy or before a planned pregnancy.
  3. Cebionmulti should not be used during pregnancy due to a lack of data on its safety.
  4. Before using the drug during breastfeeding, consult a doctor and do not exceed the recommended doses.

Cebionmulti and other substances

  1. When using thiazide or vitamin D-containing drugs with Cebionmulti, the risk of hypercalcaemia increases as a result of increased calcium ion resorption.
  2. Vitamin B6 taken in doses above 5 mg / day may reduce the effectiveness of levodopa.
  3. Cardiac arrhythmias may occur in the event of high calcium levels in the blood and when cardiac glycosides are taken.

Cebionmulti – side effects

There are no side effects when using the recommended doses of Cebionmilti.
