Causes of Prostatitis

The main causes of prostatitis are as follows:

  • venereal infection;
  • bacteria (bacterial prostatitis);
  • hypothermia;
  • dental diseases (caries);
  • mental strain (stress)
  • not often, but it happens, muscle strain (when lifting something heavy).

In the case of a sexually transmitted infection, most likely such an exacerbation will not let you forget about yourself, because in addition to pain and itching, you will also notice manifestations of the infection itself (discharge from the urinary canal, an ulcer on the head of the penis, etc.) and consult a doctor. Further, everything will depend on the qualifications and conscientiousness of the doctor. As a rule, a good urologist knows how to deal with venereal infections. However, in this case, you will stay at the urologist for a long time, spend a lot of money. So stay safe!!!

Bacterial infections are perhaps the most persistent causative agents of inflammation in the prostate. They have become so embedded in our flora that they have become a familiar companion for some people, as doctors like to say when they cannot prescribe a suitable treatment: “Perhaps this is your normal flora!” There is nothing normal in this flora. Staphylococci and streptococci are pathogenic flora and the worst pest for the body. Therefore, they must certainly be fought until they are destroyed.

Diseases of the teeth and caries. This deserves a separate discussion, since caries is the source of those same bacteria that are carried throughout the body. If your teeth hurt, you can almost definitely say that you will suffer from chronic prostatitis. If not now, then very soon.

With hypothermia, the situation is twofold. In this case, acute prostatitis is quite easy to treat. The urologist can easily do this by prescribing the right antibiotic and conducting a dozen sessions of prostate massage (yes, the same one, through the anus!). However, not everyone immediately turns to a urologist. Pains pass. Seems like everything is fading away. The erection worsens a little. Well, what’s wrong, this has happened before, maybe just yesterday I was out of shape – you might think. And you will be wrong. And only when the erection worsens significantly, and the duration of sexual intercourse becomes indecently short, go to the doctor. And precious time will be wasted. The whole danger of this situation lies in the fact that within about two to three weeks after the appearance of the first symptoms, the inflammatory process in the prostate becomes chronic, and the man becomes a patient of urology for the rest of his life.

The situation is exactly the same with overexertion and stress. Stress and overstrain in the appropriate situation cause a stagnant process in the prostate gland, comparable to inflammation. Here it is only necessary to say that in the case of overexertion, and in the case of a venereal infection, and in the case of stress, the inflammatory process becomes chronic just as quickly as in the case of hypothermia. So don’t hesitate!!!

Well, if you stretched out and acquired chronic prostatitis, then exacerbations will occur quite often. And cause of exacerbation of prostatitis maybe almost a breath of wind. If a healthy man needs to supercool the pelvis in order to get sick with prostatitis, then a patient with chronic prostatitis may need even a small cold to exacerbate it. Exacerbations can occur due to seasonal weakening of the body after a long winter, and after a single abuse of alcohol, and in the case of an unrealized erection (I emphasize this, this should be avoided), and due to a slight overstrain or fatigue, and as a result of sedentary work, among drivers in general constantly, and as a result of an irregular sexual life, and even as a result of constipation, and in general, before you have time to cough, chronic prostatitis will remind you of itself.
