Catrix for bedsores and ulcers. How to use?

Catrix is ​​a preparation used for wounds, pressure ulcers (I-IV degree), ulcers (also with exudates), congestive feet in the course of diabetes, lesions with partial tissue loss, burns of the XNUMXst and XNUMXnd degree, abrasions. The preparation contains bovine cartilage powder and facilitates wound healing. The preparation is in the form of an over-the-counter powder.

Catrix – indications and dosage

Catrix is ​​recommended for:

  1. wounds,
  2. bedsores (I-IV degree),
  3. ulcers (also with effusions) congestive feet in the course of diabetes,
  4. lesions with partial tissue loss,
  5. XNUMXst and XNUMXnd degree burns,
  6. abrasions.

Dosage

Catrix is ​​a topical powder. After removing the necrotic tissue and cleaning the wound, spread the powder evenly over the entire skin lesion and cover it with a dressing. For hard-to-reach lesions, make a paste by mixing the powder with glycerin or a 0,9% solution. NaCl and then cover the lesion surface.

  1. Use 2-3 times / week, sometimes 1-2 times / day until the wound is healed.

Catrix and contraindications

A contraindication to the use of Catrix is ​​hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients or products of bovine origin.

Catrix – warnings

  1. Catrix is ​​for external use only.
  2. Protect your eyes from contact with the preparation.
  3. If there is no significant improvement after 14 days of using Catrix powder, consult your doctor and consider continuing treatment.
  4. If hypersensitivity reactions occur during use, treatment should be discontinued.
  5. Treatment of the underlying disease or comorbidities (e.g. diabetes, circulatory failure, etc.) should be carried out in parallel.
