There is an opinion that carp is not caught in winter. Actually it is not. It is caught at any time of the year, including winter. In winter, almost all types of fish are caught, and carp is no exception.

Where carp are caught in winter

Finding it is not easy, especially on an unfamiliar body of water. In winter, carp can be found:

• on wintering pits;
• in places where the boundary of the current and stagnant water passes;
• where the river changes direction.

Bait for winter carp fishing

Carp can be caught both on traditional summer baits and not quite familiar ones. For catching this fish in the winter, the following nozzles are suitable:
