The composition of the cat’s paws includes tannins, saponins, resins, phytosterol and vitamin K. Due to this, regular use of grass promotes blood clotting. Such a plant is indicated for hemoptysis, uterine and hemorrhoidal bleeding.
Application of the cat’s paw
In modern folk medicine, the cat’s paw is successfully used to treat various diseases. Decoctions are indicated for convulsions, bloody vomiting and postpartum complications. The plant is also used as a sedative. Often it is prescribed for hypertension and some female diseases.
With jaundice, it is recommended to wash with a decoction of cat’s paws. With diathesis and childhood eczema, babies are bathed in baths with such a healing decoction. As a choleretic agent, you can use a decoction made from 8 grams of raw materials and 200 grams of boiling water. The course of treatment involves taking 1 tablespoon up to three times a day.

Dioecious cat’s foot from the Compositae family is often used in folk medicine. The presented plant prefers the territories of the Caucasus, Ukraine, Siberia and the Urals. It settles with pleasure in pine forests, dry meadows and large wastelands.
Such a perennial plant reaches a height of 25 cm. A simple stem is supplemented with spatulate basal and linear stem leaves. Graceful pinkish flowers are located in small baskets. The dioecious cat’s foot blooms from mid-May to the very end of June. An infusion of healing flower baskets is indicated for cholecystitis and liver diseases. In addition, this type of plant can be used as a choleretic and anti-inflammatory agent.

Often there are specimens with a pestle, but they are considered barren.

There are no serious contraindications to the use of a cat’s paw. However, treatment should be discontinued in case of individual intolerance.
