Useful properties of carrot masks:
- Effectively deal with dryness, flaking and tightness of the skin.
- Helps to deal with skin irritation and dullness.
- Ideal for the cold season: they soften and nourish the skin, protecting it from the negative effects of wind and low temperatures.
- They are an excellent anti-aging agent thanks to their anti-aging beta-carotene and vitamin A.
- Suitable for all skin types. Just keep in mind that the lighter the skin, the less bright the carrots used in the mask should be, otherwise the skin may acquire a yellow tint.
- Enrich hair with vitamins and nutrients.
- Promotes the acceleration of hair growth.
Carrot masks for skin
Grate the carrots on a fine grater, mix with 1 tbsp. l. olive oil and 1-2 tbsp. l. milk, then add 1 egg white. Stir. Leave the mask on cleansed skin for 20 minutes and rinse off with cool water.
Mask for dry skin
Juice one carrot. Mix 2 tbsp. l. the resulting juice 1 tbsp. fat cottage cheese and 2 tbsp. l. cream and apply for 20 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.
Mask for normal skin
Grate 1 carrot and 1 apple and place in one container. Add 1 yolk and mix thoroughly. Apply the mask to your face and keep it on for 15 minutes. Then wash it off with warm water.
Carrot juice for oily skin
Grate 1 carrot and squeeze the juice out of it, quickly add a little lemon juice and immediately, until oxidation occurs, wipe your face with a freshly prepared mixture.
Anti-Aging Mask
Grate 1 carrot on a fine grater. Mix the resulting gruel with 1 tbsp. l. low-fat sour cream. Apply to face for 15 minutes and rinse off with cold water. This mask will help smooth out fine wrinkles.
Vitaminizing mask
To prepare the mask you will need: 1 carrot, 1 tsp. olive oil, the protein of one egg and a little starch.
Grate the carrots on a fine grater, add olive oil, protein and starch. Mix thoroughly. Apply on face for 15 minutes, rinse with warm water.
Soothing mask
Boil 1 carrot, then grind with 1 ripe avocado in a blender until you get a puree consistency. Then add a few tablespoons of heavy cream, 1 egg, and 3 tablespoons to the mixture. l. honey. Mix everything thoroughly and apply a thick layer on the face and leave for 15 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.
Nourishing mask for the neck and décolleté area
Grate 1 carrot, add 1 egg white, oatmeal and 1 tbsp. olive oil. Apply to neck and décolleté for 15 minutes before showering.
Mask for shine of hair
Mix 2 cups of carrot juice with 2 tbsp. l. lemon juice and 2 tbsp. l. burdock oil. Rub the resulting mixture well into the scalp and apply to the entire length of the hair, wrap the head with a towel and leave for 30 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.
Hair growth and strengthening mask
Finely chop the carrots and banana peel, mix. Then add 2 tbsp. l. almond oil, 2 tbsp. l. sour cream and 1 tbsp. l. burdock oil and grind thoroughly with a blender. Keep it on your hair for no more than 30 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.
Lip mask
Mix 1 tsp. carrot juice and 1 tsp. olive oil. Lubricate lips liberally, leave on for 5-10 minutes. Then blot with a napkin. After moisturizing your lips, applying a little honey on them for 3-5 minutes, blot with a napkin. The lips will become smooth and soft.
