Homemade carrot cake: video recipe

To prepare this healthy delicacy, you will need: – 2 carrots; – 1 cup of sugar; – 4 eggs; – 1 glass of flour; – 2 tablespoons of sour cream; – 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil; – 0,5 teaspoon of cinnamon; – 0,5 teaspoon of baking soda; – 0,5 teaspoon of vinegar; – 0,5 cups of walnut kernels.

Beat the eggs with a mixer until stiff and stir in the sugar. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater and combine with the egg mass. Add sour cream, vinegar slaked soda, vegetable oil, cinnamon, nuts and flour to this mixture. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly to make a dough with a consistency like sour cream.

Grease a baking dish and pour the dough into it. Put it in an oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake for 40 minutes. The pie can be served hot or cold.

Carrot cake with orange zest

You can add orange peel to the carrot pie to make it even more flavorful. To make a pie, take: – 2 cups of wheat flour; – 0,5 cups of regular sugar; – 0,5 cups brown sugar; – 4 small carrots; – 4 raw eggs; – 1,5 cups of vegetable oil; – 1 teaspoon baking powder for dough; – 2 teaspoons of vanillin; – 2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon; – 0,5 teaspoon of salt; – 2 tablespoons of grated orange zest.

Combine flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, vanillin and salt in one cup. Beat eggs and butter with a mixer. Combine them with grated carrots and orange peel. Then mix this mixture with bulk products. Transfer the finished dough to a greased form and bake at 180 degrees for an hour. Serve warm.

The finished carrot pie can be sprinkled on top with ground nuts, powdered sugar, grated chocolate and garnished with candied fruits

Carrot dough can be used to bake not only a cake, but also muffins. To do this, you will need: – 300 grams of carrots; – 150 grams of brown sugar; – 150 grams of butter; – 2 raw eggs; – 200 grams of flour; – 1 teaspoon of cinnamon; – 100 grams of raisins.

Whisk the butter and sugar until smooth. While whisking, add eggs to the mixture, then finely grated carrots, well-washed raisins and flour.

It is better to take young bright orange carrots for baking, as they are more juicy and soft

Transfer the finished dough into muffin tins and put the oven preheated to 170 degrees, bake for 40–45 minutes.
