Carpets, sculptures, khokhloma: 12 bathrooms with infernal design

Looking at these photos, we wanted to disbelieve our eyes. But, unfortunately, they are real. Someone really lives in such interiors.

When equipping a bathroom, we think about many things: how to cram so many things into a limited space, whether to put a bathtub or shower, to decorate the walls with tiles or mosaics, which shelves to choose, etc. But some homeowners go much further with their fantasies.

If you are thinking about renovating a bathroom and leafing through catalogs with interiors, take a look at these pictures. And don’t repeat the mistakes of designers!

Real estate agent Vanessa Van Winkle shared the real pictures of apartments, the design of which was ruled by clearly outstanding personalities. She has already seen all sorts of interiors, she also saw the most different people.

“I screamed at my colleagues, asked them to share photos of the most horrible interiors they had ever seen,” she writes on her Facebook page. “God, how many strange and incredible things are there!”

For example, in a studio apartment, the bathroom can be equipped right in the kitchen. Well, why not? Conveniently, you can dine right in the jacuzzi. Putting a bathtub next to the bed is also an option. The main thing is not to mix up in the evening where to fit. Or here’s a bathroom, all wrapped up in carpets. Even the outer walls of the bathtub itself are covered with carpet!

A separate topic is the color scheme. There is a nest bath in girly pink. It was as if you were in a world of gum, everything is so pink and vanilla. And there is a brutal bathroom in scarlet colors. It’s probably not very pleasant to be there. But if the family is large, this is a plus: no one will sit on the pot for an extra five minutes.

And you can also make a bath with a claim to a place of high culture. To do this, you need to pick up everything to match, from rugs to the shade of toilet paper, and place more plaster statues everywhere. It can even be gilded. So you will feel like a truly refined nature, for whom even going to the toilet is not some mundane routine, but a whole ritual!

From a selection of Vanessa and her colleagues, we have collected the most incredible examples of what the flight of human thought in the field of design can bring. Enjoy!
