PSYchology

Why it works, or How can the Dale Carnegie system help you today?

Not so much time has passed since people “invented” psychology – just over a hundred years. And as soon as it was born, it turned out that the ability to understand oneself and other people (which, in fact, is the essence of psychology) has the most direct impact on both the physical health of a person and his professional success. Not to mention relationships with other people. So in the century of its existence, psychology has become more necessary than any other science.

There are many books on psychology published, but the bestseller list is, of course, books on the psychology of communication.

However, no work has survived as many reprints in different countries as the books of Dale Carnegie. “HOW TO GAIN FRIENDS AND INFLUENCE PEOPLE”, “HOW TO OVERCOME ANXIETY”, “HOW TO BUILD CONFIDENCE IN YOURSELF AND INFLUENCE PEOPLE BY SPEAKING IN PUBLIC” — these three “classic” works are well known all over the world.

They are being successfully published even now, although the books of this greatest master of human communication were written at the beginning of the XNUMXth century. When not every house had a telephone, and even science fiction writers had no idea what a computer was. Not to mention other devices and gadgets, without which we, people of the XNUMXst century, cannot imagine our lives.

Just think: the advice of a person who has never looked at a computer monitor screen is relevant for people of the third millennium!

And not just relevant: they capture, inspire, make you move on. Dale Carnegie’s books are an excellent cure for any depression, apathy and laziness. Many people keep them on their desk or on the nightstand by their favorite chair; the most advanced upload them to electronic «readers» so that they never part with this source of inspiration.
