This book is a collection of works by followers of the outstanding Swiss psychologist Carl Gustav Jung. It is devoted to one of the key concepts of analytical psychology — «anime» (the female part in the male psyche) and «animus» (the male part of the female psyche). Jung constantly emphasized that every man has a feminine side, and every woman has a masculine side, and understanding this has enabled many of us to accept ourselves as we are, and not as we have to be in order to conform to gender stereotypes. However, when creating his own concept of anima and animus, Jung proceeded precisely from the stereotypes of perception of what was male and female that prevailed in his time. And so, over the years, Jung’s followers have been refining and refining his theory. This collection is proof of that.
