Caring for the parquet fits the proverb “take care of your honor from your youth”. Safety precautions will not be superfluous when it comes to wood. The warmth, durability of the material requires recoil. Such a floor does not need constant cleaning, but it does not need to be denied attention.
You can’t do without preventive measures:
- Wet cleaning is no longer a place here. Rarely, a couple of times a month, you can wipe the floor with a well wrung out soft absorbent cloth.
- Vacuuming is allowed, but not with a cleaning device. Let the brooms remain for the dacha. They can damage the coating, not for that you ordered expensive parquet in order to revenge it with something incomprehensible.
- On the threshold, at the entrance, you need to lay a rug. Let the household dry their feet more thoroughly. Dirt, dust, sand on the sole – only to scratching the wood.
- It is better to clean carpets: under them, solid particles accumulate, which also damage the floor.
- We’ll have to put soft covers on the furniture legs. No dents needed.

Homes use the following inventory:
- microfiber rags, soft brushes, but soap, dishwashing detergents, washing powders cannot be added to the washing water. Is the floor covered with acrylic? Cleaner (cleaner) for acrylic surfaces is suitable;
- if a spot is found on the lacquered floor, they try to remove it with uyat spirit, quickly wiping it dry with a clean cloth;
- Bona Polish remains a popular product, which is suitable for lacquered floors. But its cost exceeds 700 rubles;
- in winter, during the period of seasonal heating, it is necessary to maintain air humidity. To do this, put an aquarium in the room or purchase a humidifier.
If a scratch occurs, the top layer of the damaged area is removed and a new one is applied. But no matter how laborious the maintenance of varnished parquet is, it is worth it. Parquet is a sign of taste, character, ability to live stylishly. But now it is clear why only aristocrats allowed themselves: he needs care like a child.
