Psychologists have long noticed that tall people with an attractive appearance find work easier and earn more *. Now American economists Timothy Judge and Daniel Cable have figured out how our weight affects wages**. Men who are slightly overweight earn more, but starting with 10-15 extra pounds, the picture changes: the higher the weight, the lower the salary. For women, the situation is simpler: slim people always get more than full ones. However, the average difference in salaries for people with different weights is not so great: fortunately, professional success is determined mainly by skills and abilities, and not by centimeters and kilograms.
