Even perfume can ruin your favorite thing.

Fabrics from the best factories in Italy and France are works of art that must be properly cared for. Specialists dry cleaning Apetta told how to take care of your favorite silk dress or linen suit.

Silk

Do not wash in a typewriter

Silk is very capricious and requires a particularly delicate attitude towards itself. Once a silk blouse was brought to us, which was all covered with whitish creases. It turns out that they just washed it at home in a typewriter. Although even on the product tag it was indicated that machine washable is prohibited.

Do not rub stains with wet wipes

Another case: a girl brought a silk dress with small stains – splashes from drinks. One of them was worn out and whitish. It turned out that she rubbed the spot with a damp cloth, which wiped off the dye. The stains were eventually removed, but that whitish, from the napkin, remained.

No salt

This folk method will only spoil the structure and color of the fabric.

Bright clothes – dry cleaning

It is better to dry clean bright, shiny, dark and patterned silks. Such fabrics will definitely shed during washing, even in cold water, you can be sure of that. It is better to avoid such troubles, especially when the item is expensive. Dry cleaning is a little cheaper.

Linen

Do not wash in hot water

Flax is very afraid of high temperatures. Clothes can shrink or shed at high temperatures. Therefore, we wash the dyed fabrics in water at 30 ° C.

Color traps

These are cloth napkins treated with a special composition. They absorb dirt and paint, preventing them from spilling onto other items during washing, while maintaining the color of the garment. A delicate conditioner will help soften the fabric.

Do not rub stains

Never try to remove stains from flax – you risk rubbing them into the structure of the fabric or leaving whiteness on the fabric, which is an irreparable defect.

Better by hand

When washing, it is better to resort to hand washing, but do not twist the linen clothes, but wring them out.

No bleaches

The use of aggressive or chlorine-containing bleaching agents is not permitted. Natural linen is bleached under the influence of ultraviolet radiation.

What stains cannot be removed at home and in dry cleaning:

  • super glue stains;

  • traces of construction foam;

  • perfume stains;

  • gel pen stains.

And what else?

Hydrocarbon cleaning (KWL) – delicate and environmentally friendly technology for cleaning clothes. KWL does not contain fluorine and chlorine, thus retaining the softness of fabrics and materials, color saturation. After such processing, no pungent odors and creases of the fabric remain.

In KWL-solvent, mainly delicate, not heavily soiled items are processed:

  • products from natural fur;

  • leather and leatherette products;

  • from cotton, linen, silk, wool and other delicate fabrics;

  • combined products, for example, outerwear with inserts of leather and artificial materials;

  • things with adhesive materials;

  • decorated and delicate fabrics from designer collections.

Please note: you cannot cope with ingrained KWL stains on your own; you will need to use various enhancers of the cleansing process.

Types of markings that only KWL cleaning is suitable for:

If your garment is marked with an F in a circle and a P with an underline, they must not be processed in perchlorethylene. For such items, hydrocarbon cleaning (KWL) is recommended. And you can feel free to contact dry cleaning Apettawhere new generation German hydrocarbon solvents are used.
