Marijuana increases the likelihood of schizophrenia.

Marijuana use increases the risk of developing schizophrenia*. Neurophysiologists clarify: those with the modified specific gene Akt I are the least likely to be at risk. The results of this study are unlikely to be soon used in our clinics. More importantly, they show the direction in which medicine is developing: to help each patient individually, taking into account all his characteristics — up to genetic ones.
