Soft, thick, radiant – who among us does not dream of such hair? Almost everyone can achieve this, but it’s not just about choosing the right shampoo, conditioner and other hair cosmetics. Even how you comb your hair matters: how often, how long, right after shampooing or after drying your hair. And is it even possible to comb wet hair?
May or may not brush wet hair
People often ask, is it possible for little girls and boys to comb wet hair after washing? No, children should not brush wet hair for the same reasons.

Consequences of combing raw hair
become brittle – a wet hair shaft is easily stretched and becomes vulnerable (in the process of combing, it simply breaks);
fall out – the comb pulls out water-weighted hair, and if they are, in principle, prone to falling out, then with “wet” combing, the losses will be much greater;
fluff and confuse – on dry hair, the cuticle scales fit snugly against each other and protect the hair shaft from damage, and during washing they open slightly; when we start combing the hair in this state, it is easily damaged on a structural level. The hair gets frizzy and tangled, and with each “wet” combing, it becomes more and more difficult to unravel them …
When is the best time to brush your hair after shampooing?
After shampooing and rinsing your hair, apply a mask or conditioner to make combing easier.
Rinse off if necessary. Then wrap them in a towel for 10-15 minutes: let it absorb excess moisture (this must also be done before blow-drying).
If you can’t wait for your hair to dry on its own, dry it with a hair dryer on a cool setting before combing.
Start combing your hair (the technique will vary depending on how long it is – see below). Use a comb made of natural materials (wooden or horn), a brush made of natural bristles. Keep in mind that sharp, overly frequent, and hard teeth can injure your hair (and scalp). To make the procedure more pleasant, you can first unravel the curls with a comb, and then comb them with a massage brush.

How to comb hair of different lengths
Short hair comb gently from top to bottom. If the tips are very tangled, first disassemble them with your hands.
Medium and long hair comb through 20-30 minutes after washing. Start from the ends, climbing higher and higher. Be sure to hold them at the roots, take your time, act carefully and carefully.
separate story from curly and curly hair. They can not be combed either wet or dry (after drying they instantly turn into a fluffy cloud) – only slightly damp, using a conditioner, cream, gel or any other leave-in product to facilitate combing. (And what will happen if you don’t comb them for a couple of days, it’s generally scary to think).
