Calcium Gluconicum Farmapol is a preparation recommended:

  1. in a situation of increased demand for calcium,
  2. in states of calcium deficiency in the body,
  3. in the treatment of osteoporosis of various origins (also as a preventive measure),
  4. in the treatment of tetany,
  5. supportive in the treatment of allergic diseases,
  6. in inflammation,
  7. in bone fractures,
  8. in bone demineralization.

Drug dosage

Calcium Gluconicum Farmapol is in the form of tablets to be taken orally. Do not exceed the recommended dose of the preparation.

  1. Adults, after a meal, 1-2 tablets. 4 × / d.

Calcium Gluconicum Farmapol and contraindications

  1.   4. Taking the preparation with thiazide diuretics increases the risk of hypercalcaemia. Blood calcium levels should be checked regularly.
  5. The drug may reduce the effect of verapamil and other calcium channel blockers and increase the toxic effects of digoxin and other cardiac glycosides and lead to arrhythmias.

Calcium Gluconicum Farmapol – side effects

During treatment with Calcium Gluconicum Farmapol, the following may occur:

  1. gastrointestinal disorders (constipation, flatulence, nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhea),
  2. in patients with renal insufficiency, hypercalcaemia may occur, the symptoms of which are: anorexia, gastrointestinal disorders, muscle weakness, polyuria, and nephrolithiasis.
