Simple yet beautiful: quick cake decorating
You can decorate fruit pies in another way. Try to spread the sliced fruits nicely on the surface. Strawberries, kiwi, thin slices of apples with peels, carambola and oranges look especially impressive. Wash and dry fruits and berries thoroughly, carefully cut them into thin slices or circles and distribute them evenly over the surface. For a better hold on the fruit, place it on a cream or frosting.
The berry-fruit composition can be fixed with jelly. It will coat the sliced fruit with a thin, glossy layer and make the cake even more beautiful. Use pre-made jelly bags or make your own.
You will need; – 2 tablespoons of gelatin; – 0,5 liters of water tinted with syrup; – 2 tablespoons of sugar.
Dissolve the gelatin in half a glass of cold water and heat without boiling. Pour the gelatin mixture into the syrup water, stir, cool and apply to the surface of the cake with a silicone brush. Let the jelly harden.
A very simple cake decoration is chocolate icing. You can use dark, milk, white chocolate. Special flavored options like orange-orange, greenish mint, or pink strawberry are also good options.
You will need: – 150 g of dark chocolate; – 50 g orange chocolate; – 3 tablespoons of cream.
In a saucepan, melt the dark chocolate with two tablespoons of cream. Break the orange chocolate into pieces, add a spoonful of cream and melt in a separate container. Keep it warm.
Pour dark chocolate over the surface of the cake and smooth it with a wide knife. Let the glaze harden. Pour the orange chocolate into a paper cornet and add strokes or monograms to the surface of the cake. Remove the dessert for final hardening.
