Cafes to combat child malnutrition
Having a coffee and helping those most in need is the main objective of the new edition of the solidarity event of “Operation Café”
Your coffee saves lives, this is the new message presented by the solidarity campaign of Operation Coffee , which invites the national hospitality industry to participate in this initiative every year.
The solidarity event is co-organized by the Spanish Federation of Hotels and Restaurants (FEHR) and by the NGO Action Against Hunger, with a clear purpose of raising funds to collaborate in the social actions carried out by the aforementioned NGO.
The dates are already set for this new edition of 2017, they will be from June 1 to 31, and this new “Operation Coffee“, And the Sixth, will fill the bars of the bars with illusion, good projects and above all a lot of coffee.
For this, the organization of the solidarity event, has made an interesting display that will be located in a visible place in each establishment in order to make their customers see that “this bar collaborates with those most in need ”.

Hospitality united to fight malnutrition
The bars and cafes that give their yes to the campaign, commit to donate to the organization of the Operation Coffee 0,10 euros, for each coffee served in their establishments throughout the month of June, a small but very useful help to help eradicate child malnutrition from the planet, which, as in previous editions of the “solidarity coffee”, is the main one recipient of the aid that action against hunger develops with this campaign.
You can actively participate in the campaign by sending a text message from your mobile phone to number 28010 and thus a direct donation of € 1,20 will be made to the cause.
Serving a cup of coffee can save lives, and for the establishment “everything is advantages”
- They actively participate in a solidarity campaign at the national level for a month, and the establishment will appear in the cafeteria search engine
- The promotional material allows to attract new customers identified with the social purpose of the habitual consumption of a coffee.
- It generates motivation to the entire group of employees of the hospitality establishment by making them participate and also provides a tax relief on the amount of the donation.
