Ingredients

The salad is prepared from the following products:

  • cabbage – 1,5 kg;
  • cranberries – 0,5 cups;
  • garlic – 1 head.

Fill:

  • water – 1 l;
  • vinegar (9%) – 1 cup;
  • sugar – 0,5 glass;
  • vegetable oil – 0,5 cups;
  • salt – 2 tbsp. spoons.

This recipe can be made with more or less sugar or vinegar, and garlic can be omitted altogether.

Recipe

Peel the cabbage from the outer leaves and cut into squares or strips, chop the garlic.

Boil the marinade, and enter the vinegar right before removing the saucepan from the stove.

Pour the hot dressing over the salad, place a weight on top, leave warm overnight.

Before serving, mix cabbage with cranberries, season with vegetable oil. If desired, you can use the greens of your choice.

  • cabbage – 1 kg;
  • cranberries – 100 g;
  • apples – 200 g;
  • salt – 2 tsp.

Marinade:

  • water – 700 ml;

These products are enough to fill 2 cans of a liter volume.

Preparation

Chop the cabbage, add a little salt and grind it with your hands so that it releases the juice.

Wash the apples, divide into quarters, remove the core, cut into thin slices.
