Cabbage diet is rich in fiber and vitamins A, C and E. The menu does not pose many difficulties, and the prostate on the list of advantages is accompanied by a feeling of satiety. Despite monotonic eating, it enjoys a lot of sympathy among people on a reduction diet, because it brings instant results. It lasts 7 days and cannot be extended.

The main rule is to eat a dish prepared according to a strict recipe based on cabbage. However, the menu includes fruit and vegetables, brown rice, lean fish, and even chicken fillet. The time that we will spend on preparing the cabbage soup will be one and a half hours, so it is worth preparing a few days’ supply at once.

Special recipe

To prepare the soup, we need: 1 head of cabbage (Italian variety is also allowed), 1 celery, 2 peppers, 3 large onions, 5 tomatoes (canned ones can be used out of season) and 3 liters of water. We do not add salt, we use the following spices for seasoning: 2 bay leaves, a few grains of pepper and allspice, marjoram, cumin and chili. Shred the cabbage and cut the vegetables into cubes. With the exception of tomatoes, vegetables are poured with water in a pot, to which, 10 minutes after boiling, add tomatoes. Cook the soup until the vegetables are soft.

Menu for 7 days

Cabbage diet, despite its monotonicity, gains a little variety every day. Don’t forget to drink 8 glasses of water every day.

  • Day 1: We eat soup and 700 g of fruit divided into several portions (except bananas, cherries and avocados).
  • Day 2: In addition to the soup, we can eat 1 kg of vegetables (except potatoes, beans, peas, corn).
  • Day 3: Soup, half a kilo of fruit (except bananas, cherries and avocados) and 700 g vegetables (except potatoes, beans, peas, corn).
  • Day 4: Soup, 2-3 bananas, 2 cups of skimmed milk.
  • Day 5: Soup, 500 g of tomatoes, 250 g of boiled or grilled chicken breast.
  • Day 6: Soup, 500 g green vegetables, 250 g pollock fillet.
  • Day 7: Soup, 500 cup cooked brown rice, XNUMXg vegetables (except potatoes, beans, peas, corn).

Advantages and disadvantages

Cabbage diet normalizes the functioning of the intestines, has diuretic properties. It does not contain salt, therefore it does not retain water in the body, introduces large amounts of vegetables and fruits to our menu. It allows you to lose 4-5 kg ​​of weight in a short time, despite the fact that we eat soup without restrictions. On the other hand, we are exposed to deficiencies of protein, calcium and fat-soluble vitamins. Since it is classified as a low-calorie diet, in order to protect against the yo-yo effect, for some time after its completion, ladies should limit the caloric limit during the day to 1800 kcal, and men to 2000 kcal.
