Yu Jiangsa from China has the longest eyelashes in the world. Moreover, the rapid growth began just a few years ago, in 2015. A year later, she already entered the Guinness Book of Records – the length of her eyelashes was about 13 cm.
This year, Yu broke her own record – with 20,5 cm long eyelashes, she again became the record holder of the Guinness Book of Records.
Neither the doctors nor the woman herself can explain the reason for the growth of such eyelashes. “I went around many doctors, and they did not find any violations and just called me a miracle. Then I thought that perhaps it was genes or heredity, but no one in my family has such a feature, ”admits Yu.
The Chinese woman believes that this is a gift from God, because along with the growth of eyelashes, her health has improved. “Surprisingly, since childhood, I was very weak, I was often sick, and after my eyelashes began to grow rapidly, I got stronger physically.”
In everyday life, this feature does not interfere with Yu at all, on the contrary, according to the woman, it saves time on makeup. And the Chinese woman tuck her long eyelashes behind her ears so that they do not get in the way. And the woman is very happy to be included in the list of Guinness Book holders.
