Bullfighting and Tapas come together in Roquetas

In the middle of the week of San Fermines, but this time much further south begins the Third Taurine Tapa Route.

In the Granada municipality of Roquetas de Mar, gastronomy merges with the art of bullfighting to offer visitors the best culinary creations.

The bullfighting shows that are programmed within the framework of the activities of the Feast of Santa Ana, are the perfect framework to carry out these gastronomic days.

The municipal consistory promotes the event with the symbiosis of its cultural tradition, its products and hospitality establishments that will offer from Friday July 10 to the next 19 of the same month tapas and snacks along with a drink for the fixed price of € 2,5.

The schedules to taste the exceptional flags, capes and monteras on plate will be from 12 to 16.30 and from 19.30 to 23.30 at the participating venues.

Customers who consume and taste the offer presented by the premises attached to the contest, will be able to vote and participate through the brochures published by the City Council, which describe the cover of each establishment and its location on the city map.

Like any self-respecting culinary contest type contest, it will reward the winner and of course the participants through a raffle, to qualify for the prizes of two nights in a hotel with Spa, Spa circuits and tastings at the winning bar.

For participating venues, the award is reserved in two different categories:

  • Best Tapa
  • Best service

The municipality of Roquetas de Mar offers numerous leisure activities throughout the year, and it is especially in the summer season the best time to enjoy the climate, its history, its beaches and above all the quality and good welcoming its people.
