Buckwheat porridge is very nutritious, tasty and healthy. But one can only imagine how boring it is to eat the same dish every time. However, buckwheat may not always taste the same.
So, in order to somehow diversify the taste of the familiar buckwheat, you can try to embellish the finished dish with different sauces and gravies. In fact, the taste of buckwheat with gravy is much softer. In addition, it can be as varied as you yourself can come up with sauces, seasonings and gravies for this dish.
How to make mushroom gravy
You will need:
– onions; – carrots; – mushrooms; – vegetable oil; – milk; – flour; – salt, spices.
Thoroughly fry onions, grated carrots and mushrooms, finely chopped in vegetable oil in a frying pan. Then pour this whole mixture with 200 grams of milk and add one tablespoon of flour there, mixing all this thoroughly. Simmer the resulting mixture for 5 minutes, add salt to taste, spices, stirring the gravy all this time.
You will need:
– meat broth; – onions; – carrots; – bell peppers; – vegetable oil; – salt, spices.
This sauce is prepared without meat. It contains only meat broth. It is necessary to fry the onions, then add the carrots there and fry for 3 minutes. Then add bell peppers, cut into strips or cubes, there. Simmer this whole mixture over low heat for another 5 minutes. Now the gravy base is almost ready. Pour all this with salted meat broth, then bring to a boil, turn off the heat and let the sauce cool.
You will need:
– processed cheese; – milk; – butter.
First you need to cut the processed cheese into plastics, then boil the milk and put the cheese in it. After that, you need to stir the boiling mixture until the cheese slices dissolve. Add one teaspoon of butter there and turn off the heat. Let the mixture cool slightly. The sauce is now ready.
You will need:
– smoked sausage; – smoked ham; – smoked cheese; – vegetable oil; – onions; – water; – flour.
You can use liquid smoke to make smoked gravy, but it is advisable to work a little and make a sauce that is more natural. So, take the heavily smoked sausage, smoked chicken leg, and smoked cheese. Cut all this into cubes and fry in vegetable oil along with onions. Mix about one glass of cold water with one tablespoon of flour, stirring the mixture thoroughly. Pour it into the skillet. Let your sauce simmer for 10 minutes. Remember to stir it thoroughly so that it does not burn.
If you figured it out a little with sauces, the porridge itself should also be boiled correctly. Buckwheat can be boiled, steamed with water, filled with kefir, boiled in milk, and so on. Buckwheat cooks quickly enough. In addition, if you do not know how to cook buckwheat, you can always buy this cereal in special thermal bags.
Thermal packs are simply dipped in salted water and boiled for 8-10 minutes
Surprisingly, it turns out that buckwheat is exactly the dish that can have completely different tastes, depending on the prepared gravy. Experiment, cook.
