How to cook buckwheat porridge for a baby?
To prepare porridge for the first feeding you will need:
- 1 tsp buckwheat flour
- 100 ml of water
The baby needs to cook buckwheat porridge without salt. For the first feeding, it should turn out to be liquid. The consistency can be increased as the child gets used to the new food. For babies, you can use special baby milk, but provided that the child does not have allergies.
If the child refuses buckwheat porridge, do not force feed the baby. Take a break for a few days and then offer another porridge
Put the buckwheat flour in a saucepan, cover with water and cook over low heat for 10-15 minutes, stirring constantly. The finished porridge can be added to the infant formula, which is familiar to the baby. For a child over six months, porridge can be cooked in low-fat milk. When starting milk supplements, dilute the milk with water in a 1: 1 ratio.
