Buckwheat is considered one of the most valuable dietary products. It contains very few easily digestible carbohydrates, but a lot of fiber, protein, vitamins and microelements. Buckwheat helps control weight, normalizes bowel function, cleanses the body of toxins, lowers cholesterol and improves blood circulation. Buckwheat porridge in a double boiler turns out to be fluffy, crumbly and fully retains all the beneficial properties of the cereal.

You will need: – 1 glass of buckwheat; – 2 glasses of water; – 200 g of chicken breast fillet; – 1 small zucchini; – 1 onion; – 1 carrot; – salt to taste; – fresh herbs (parsley, dill); – a little creamy oils (optional).

Rinse the chicken fillet with cold water and dry thoroughly with a paper towel. Cut into thin strips.

Wash and peel vegetables. Cut the courgette and onion into small cubes. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater.

Place the cereal insert in the steamer bowl. Pour buckwheat into it. Top with chopped vegetables and strips of chicken fillet. Season with salt to taste. Fill with two glasses of hot water.

Pour water into the steamer and plug it in. Steamed buckwheat in a double boiler is cooked for 40-50 minutes. At the end of cooking, add a piece of butter, finely chopped fresh herbs and stir.

Buckwheat with mushrooms in a double boiler

You will need: – 1 glass of buckwheat; – 2 glasses of water; – 30 g of dried forest mushrooms; – salt to taste; – fresh herbs (parsley, dill); – a little butter (optional).

Rinse dried forest mushrooms thoroughly and soak in cold water for several hours or overnight. Remove from water and chop finely. Do not pour out the water from the mushrooms, it will be needed for cooking porridge.

Dried wild mushrooms can be replaced with fresh mushrooms or oyster mushrooms. Rinse them, cut into cubes or slices and mix with cereals

Sort the buckwheat and heat it in a frying pan. Pour into the cereal insert, add the chopped mushrooms, salt and stir. Boil 2 cups of water, in which the mushrooms were soaked, and pour buckwheat.

Turn on the steamer for 40-50 minutes. Add a little butter, chopped herbs to the finished porridge and mix.

Buckwheat with milk in a double boiler

You will need: – 1 glass of buckwheat; – 2-2,5 glasses of milk; – salt, sugar to taste; – a little butter.

Prepare buckwheat in the same way as in the previous recipes. Pour into the cereal insert, cover with hot milk, add salt and sugar to taste.

Buckwheat with milk in a double boiler is cooked for 40-50 minutes. Add a piece of butter to the finished porridge and mix.
