This year the representations of nationalities such as those of Myanmar, Latvia, Romania, Poland, Cyprus, Costa Rica and Venezuela appear as a novelty.

The success and growth of this event in recent years due to the growing popularity of seafood in the world, According to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, the consumption of seafood reached more than 20 kilos per year, thanks to the strong growth of aquaculture. On the other hand, world fish and shellfish consumption has doubled since 1973 and is expected to reach 178 tonnes in 2025.
