Organize a homemade brunch for the whole family!
Sweet and savory brunch
To prepare a brunch, we go into the kitchen the day before or early in the morning. For the savory, we prepare pies or cakes made from cheese, ham and vegetables. It is ideal with children! The diversity of recipes allows you to vary the pleasures. New in sandwiches: bagels. They present the ingredients in an original way, to taste salads, raw vegetables, slices of chicken and cheeses for the youngest. Another great classic: eggs. Boiled, fried or as an omelet, it is one of the key ingredients of brunch. For the sweet, we opt for homemade cakes to share with yogurt or apples, the little ones love them! With the different flours available, we go off the beaten track by baking gluten-free cakes or cakes made from chestnut or corn flour. The more talented will want to serve one of the musts of fashionable British pastry: cupcakes! A lot of recipes exist to vary the pleasure and amaze your little family. To promote a balanced diet for children, we provide a basket of fresh seasonal fruit, dairy products such as yoghurts or cottage cheese, served with cereals or honey, children love it.
Breads and pastries
Making your own bread, with cereals or nuts, wholemeal or traditional bread, it is the inescapable “food” trend of the moment. Butter a slice of bread and accompany it with jam is a habit of breakfast “à la française”. Thanks to the bread machines, we program the evening for a tasting the next day. As for pastries, it’s your choice: take them from your favorite baker or bake them yourself in the oven. We buy ready-made pasta, to roll croissants or make pains au chocolat. If you are a real cordon bleu, start making homemade brioches. Difficult, but a treat. Other alternatives, pancakes and crepes ! Guaranteed success with children, and adults, they can be eaten without hunger, with different accompaniments to choose from: fruit coulis, honey or simply sprinkled with sugar.
Fruity and hot drinks
To have a successful brunch, we rely on drinks, at will and in large quantities. Go for the classic coffee and tea for adults, and a good homemade hot chocolate for the younger ones. To refresh itself, plan for juices made from squeezed fruits or in a smoothie version, if you are equipped with a blender or a juicer. If you can’t do it all yourself, there are ready-made ones, 100% pure juice, no added sugars, better for the taste. Do not forget a pitcher of fresh milk, plain or flavored, accommodated with cereals, it is sure to please toddlers.
