Folk remedies
The best remedy for bruises is cold. If you just hit, apply a cold compress to the affected area as soon as possible. It helps to constrict blood vessels and reduce swelling, and therefore, the likelihood of bruising or hematoma is significantly reduced. For these purposes, a hot water bottle with very cold water, chipped ice from the freezer, and even a frozen piece of meat are suitable. Wrap the ice with a cloth and apply it carefully, at intervals of several minutes for half an hour after the injury. By the way, a frozen parsley decoction cube is ideal for such cases. If you tend to fall and hit the corners of furniture from scratch, keep a tray of ice from a similar broth in the freezer. In addition, the cloth in which the ice is wrapped can be dipped in a decoction of horsetail – this herb will help reduce pain and reduce swelling. After you have undergone compression therapy, do not try to warm the site of the injury: this contrasting alternation will only increase the pain.

Fruit and vegetable therapy
If you don’t have any ointments or ice at hand, but by a lucky chance a tray of vegetables and fruits came into view, turn your attention to it. For example, a regular cabbage leaf cut in several places and blanched in hot water makes a great compress. It will relieve pain and inflammation. Pineapple contains a special enzyme that resolves bruises, so you can attach a piece of this fruit to a bruise. In addition, it is not forbidden to use table vinegar, it has an astringent effect. Soak a cotton swab in it and apply to the damaged area. If the bruise does not go away for a long time, take vitamin C for 3 days.
