Broncho Vaxom is a drug containing lyophilized bacterial lysates responsible for respiratory tract infections. The preparation is available in the form of hard capsules and is used to stimulate the immune system.

Broncho Vaxom – action

Bronxcho Vaxom is a medicine that works by stimulating the immune system. Thanks to the content of bacterial lysates responsible for the most common infections of the upper respiratory tract, it helps to stimulate the body’s defense mechanisms. By activating macrophages, increasing the number of C lymphocytes and increasing the concentration of immunoglobulins secreted by the mucosa of the respiratory system, it stimulates the mechanisms of cellular and humoral immunity.

Broncho Vaxom – purpose and dosage

As for Broncho Vaxom, the properties are closely related to the indications for the use of the drug. The preparation is intended for use:

  1. in the case of recurrent respiratory infections
  1. as a support in the treatment of acute respiratory infections.

Dosage

As for Broncho Vaxom, the leaflet indicates the dosage as prescribed by the doctor. Taking the preparation depends on the intended use.

As a preventive measure for recurrent infections, the drug should be used for 3 consecutive months according to the scheme: 1 capsule a day (on an empty stomach) for 10 consecutive days a month.

In the case of supportive therapy, take 1 capsule a day (on an empty stomach) until symptoms disappear, but not less than 10 days.

In the case of Broncho Vaxom, the leaflet indicates contraindications for use, such as:

  1. hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the preparation.

Broncho Vaxom – warnings

Warnings for the use of Broncho Vaxom:

  1. The drug cannot be given to children under 6 months of age.
  1. The drug must not be taken during pregnancy.
  1. Caution should be exercised when taking the drug during breastfeeding – there are no studies assessing its use in this group of women.
  1. The preparation does not affect the ability to drive vehicles or operate machinery / equipment.
  1. Do not stop treatment without consulting your doctor.

Broncho Vaxom – drug interactions

Due to the properties of Broncho Vaxom, there have been no reports of drug interactions with other drugs.

Broncho Vaxom – side effects

Brocho Vaxom, like any other drug, can cause certain side effects. Some patients may develop, inter alia, symptoms such as:

  1. rash
  1. stomach pain
  1. headache
  1. cough
  1. vomiting
  1. fever
  1. tiredness.
