Brogans Patrick was a simple farmer and was engaged in the production of dairy products. Thanks to his impeccable reputation and the quality of raw materials, he partnered with Emmetts Cream Liqueur and supplied them with milk.

Patrick got excited about creating his own cream liqueur, and even worked for a while at Baileys liqueur.

During his cooperation with liquor magnates, he learned all the intricacies of the production of an Irish creamy drink and, having improved its recipe, decided to launch the production of this drink under his own brand.

In 1998, when the farmer was 37 years old, he opened his own business, PG Brogan & Company. The secret of the success of his drink lies in the soft taste, for this Brogans used a unique variety of whiskey, which was aged in oak sherry casks.

Liquor features

Brogans is produced with a strength of 17% and has a velvety taste with a charming aroma of caramel, chocolate milk and roasted nuts.

There are two main ingredients used to make Irish Cream Liqueur:

  1. High-grade whiskey 10-year-old from the famous Cooley distillery in Ireland, which goes through the distillation stage three times and is infused exclusively in oak barrels.

  2. Full-fat natural cream, which is made from the milk of the best farms in the Royal County Meath.

The liqueur is produced in black bottles of 350 and 500 ml with a laconic design.

How to distinguish the original from forgery

Brogans is often counterfeited, and in order not to fall for a low-quality product, there are several important rules:

  1. The original bottle does not have any relief forms, only at the bottom of the bottle there are small dots that the manufacturer makes for better stability of the bottle.

  2. Labels on the bottle should be glued evenly and not have leaking glue. A crooked label, a mistake in the inscription or fuzzy logos signal that you have a fake in front of you.

  3. Pay attention to the bottle cap, it should be black and have a circular inscription “IRISH CREAM LIQUEUR BROGANS” on top
